Butterfly Releases

Each year, GRACE Cancer Foundation hosts Butterfly Releases in Kearney, Hastings, and Grand Island to provide a meaningful opportunity for our community to gather in remembrance, celebration, and hope. Families and friends are invited to release live butterflies in honor of loved ones who have battled cancer, celebrate survivors, and remember those who are no longer with us. These heartfelt events offer a moment of reflection, healing, and connection while bringing our community together to support those whose lives have been touched by cancer. Through shared stories and the symbolic release of butterflies, we are reminded that hope, strength, and love continue to take flight long after the moment has passed.
