Course Information:
IMPORTANT Course Information:
10K–There are arrows painted on the streets that will assist you in following the course as well as volunteers all along the route. There will be a lead and tail bike to assure that runners all return safely to the finish line. Police officers will also be present at intersections that have heavier traffic to maintain runner safety.
***Also, please stay inside the cones on South Locust St. as the far west (right) lane has been closed for you to assure your safety.
***Participants from the 2-Mile may be finishing their course as you are coming into the chute, please use caution.
2-Mile Family Fun Run–There are arrows painted on the streets that will assist you in following the course as well as volunteers along the route. Runners will do 1 lap heading north on Walnut, east on South Front St., south on Vine St. and then west on 3rd St. When runners get to the Kaufman Park area, they will do a U-turn and head back running their 2nd lap in reverse and finishing at the Grand Theatre.
***As you are finishing your 2nd lap and turning the corner at Walnut and 3rd Streets, please use caution and watch out for other runners finishing the 10K. Stay to your left as you prepare to enter the finish line/chute.
* AWARDS will be presented outside the Grand Theatre near Kaufman Park after the completion of the 10K and 2-Mile races for the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishers in each age division for both males and females (approximately 10:00 am). There will also be an overall male and female winner for both the 10K and 2-Mile run.
